She is a difficult child, and she never says anything, so I worry whether she's actually learning something. I have gotten mad at her and raised my voice over why she hasn't even got her pencil out while everyone else is finishing.<BR/><BR/>Today I learned, for over a year she's made excuses for why not to go to school, claiming illness or whatever. A few weeks ago she stopped and said that she likes to come to class because I make her laugh and she has fun. She's had 6 other teachers and has never issued such high of praise before.<BR/><BR/>I think I wasted the last 7 years because I was too proud or greedy to consider the teaching profession. With 3 grandparents who taught and a mother with a music ed degree, it's possible it's time to go back to my calling.<BR/><BR/>So.
