Kati sublty :) pointed out that I have not blogged forever and she is right. Normally it is a case of me not really having too much to say. But these days it is because I have too much to say and can't sort out what I should share.
So here are the highlights:
- School is crazy this year. Kids are keeping me hopping; I see no light at the end of that tunnel unless you count summer vacation!
- DS is liking preschool this year and is even showing signs of abandoning his underachiever role in this world. This is a good thing because his dad and I are uber-achievers and we are really floundering on parenting a kid that is not excelling.
- Politics are consuming me and I can't wait for all of this to be over. I love my family more than anything, but I am definitely of a different mind politically than anyone else. It leads to contention and it is lonely being the only one that is right! (love ya' sis)
- I miss scrapping and am needing a creative outlet, but I am too damn tired at the end of the day. I need to find some me time, but you all know how hard that can be.
- Last but not least, I am immeasurably blessed by friends close by and online. Especially those that would take the time to post on their blogs to get me to get off my sorry rear and back into the swing of things! Thanks Kati. I am touched, really touched!!

Indeed, thank you Kate. I now know twice as much about the status of my friend's life as I did before ;)
Life has its cycles; I hope this relentlessly busy one doesn't last too long :( We do miss you, but no worries, we'll be there when you can breathe!
Nice to see you back on your blog! I hope life calms down for you a bit. :) I know what you mean about finding time to scrap. I finally got one done tonight - and it took 10 hours! (off and on) because I can't just sit and do anything uninterrupted. I hope you get to scrap a page soon, too. :)
Yay Miss Chris! Thank you for posting. I was concerned because the last post non-scrapping was quasi-sad news. It really does sound like a lot is on your plate; hope you find a few hours for yourself. Enjoy the fall!
Dear Christinie,
Your blog writing isd excellent, and I love you even if you going to vote for that terrorist lover!!
Love,
Misschris'sMom
First, I'd like to say I love that your mom throws it out there and just says, "missChris'smom." Second, my aunt used to go to a Korean lady in Seattle who only charged $15 for a pedicure. Third, what color? :)
I am feeling a writers block. I have nothing witty to say in retort. Not much of a Maverick am I?
Mom, I fully intend to vote for that terrorist lover! I still love you too!
Kati, I can get behind a $15 pedicure, maybe I need to do more checking around! I bought OPI's Romeo and Joliet and Crepes Suzi-ette.
Karen, You are definitely not a maverick!! :)
I miss scrapping too. Band season is almost over and then I'll have my weekends back.
I sure hope you get some time too.
